Rohrer-Immobilien – personal like a private bank
Established in Munich in 1919
The Weimar Republic has still been in its infancy, when the master builder Wendelin Rohrer and his son Lorenz
founded the company “W. Rohrer & Sohn” in
Munich in 1919.
True to the philosophy “An overall service package – personal like a private bank” the goal was to manage and
realize the properties of their clients.
In 1935, the grandson Lorenz Rohrer succeeded his grandfather as director and continued the company unharmed through the
war and post war years. Especially during Munich’s reconstruction Rohrer gained high esteem by his engagement in the Munich
residential and real estate industries.
After years of training, both at home and abroad, today’s owner
Franz Rohrer
took over the management of the company from his father. In order to make the growing company more controllable, Franz Rohrer divided the divisions
property management,
marketing and procurement
into independent companies in 1982.
Each one should concentrate on the core area of his work and perfectly complement the other areas. It has thus become possible to
offer clients the whole range of services around properties from one source in an even more efficient way.
After that modernization branches have been established in
Berlin (1991) and
Nuremberg (1995).
In 2002, jointly with other owner-managed property companies from all over Germany Rohrer established the
Deutschen Anlage-Immobilien-Verbund (DAVE).
This strategic alliance enables every member to procure and market properties throughout Germany.
Prepared for the new century
After about 90 years of company history the Rohrer group of companies looks optimistically into the new century.
With a healthily mixed team of young and old we are modern in our ideas and experienced in our actions.
It is thus important to Franz Rohrer to responsibly ensure the sustainability of our staff’s structure.
Thus he sees to it that continuous and successful training programs for specialists in the real estate and housing sectors
(at present 8 trainees in the group of companies) ensure qualified new staff from the own compan
